Mission - Our goal and philosophy at the Old Captain’s House is that we want to make sure that when you stay with us, you have a full wholesome experience, and not just a mere place to stay. Our House is therefore aimed at people that love nature, organic food, sustainability, and the experience of local life. We strive to get better every day. |
Sustainability - Everything you will see, feel or touch here is sustainable and linked with nature. The entire house is powered by solar panels, generating energy for both electricity and hot water. The whole property is equipped with LED and outdoor solar lights. In front of the house there is a small garden with Mediterranean plants that is tended in a completely organic fashion, while organic waste is turned into fertilizer. We recycle and compost, so that nothing is thrown away. Here you will experience authenticity and comfort off the grid. |
